Black Market Reads Podcast at Twin Cities Book festival

In October, we partnered with Rain Taxi Review of Books to record a special live episode of Black Market Reads at the 2019 Twin Cities Book Festival. In this episode, Lissa speaks with authors about the life and work of the author Toni Morrison who passed away earlier this year.

Toni Morrison is a Nobel Prize winning novelist, educator, and editor. She was a prolific author and is known for such works as The Bluest Eye (1970), Song of Solomon (1977),  and Beloved (1987) among many others. In addition to her work as a writer, Morrison became the first black female editor at Random House.
